Meteo-Info is a private company established in September 2005. Its main activity is providing services and production of content in the field of meteorology for all types of media. Recently, company established a web site www.meteo-info.hr where the most detailed weather forecast for Croatia and large regional city centers are presented daily.
Computer magazine BUG appraised this web site as the supreme meteo portal in Croatia. Besides the weather forecast, other information directly or indirectly connected with the weather is also published on the web site.
Meteo-Info is a weather forecast supplier of the most used portals in Croatia:
www.jutarnji.hr and tourist web sites. During the tourist season 2006, Meteo-Info was GSM operator Tmobile's prime contractor for SMS provided weather forecast services sent out in seven languages. Meteo-Info won a contract for the tourist season 2007 and will provide service in eight languages this year. Among electronic media, forecasts are daily released on Zagrebački radio and Gradski radio Osijek. Meteo-Info takes part in organization of Croatian Open Championships in hang gliding, paragliding and gliding like meteo support.
Meteo-Info is a member of PRIMET, European Association of Private Meteorological Companies, and has close cooperation with several private meteorological companies in Europe.
Key personnel:
Nebojša Subanović graduated atmosphere physics (B.Sc. in Physics) on Faculty of Science in Zagreb. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Mr. Subanović was affiliated with the Meteorological Department of the Ministry of Defence for two years as a weather forecaster, and after that was a CEO and chief forecaster of Meteo Centar d.o.o. for six years.
Besides professional responsibilities he actively works on popularization of meteorology. So far, he held open lectures in Technical Museum in Zagreb. He also gives lectures to amateur pilots and teaches them in the theoretical part of their compulsory education. N. Subanovic is also the Dissemination Manager of PRIMET, taking care of Association’s web pages.

Contribution in ROADIDEA:
Meteo-Info follows all technical WPs, having most resources in driver and passenger support services. Expertise in use of PSI and from situation in all countries of the former Yugoslavia are given to the project.
