 About ROADIDEA

ROADIDEA (2008-2010) studied the innovation potential of the European ITS sector by analysing available data sources, revealing existing problems and bottlenecks for data utilisation and service build-up. ROADIDEA also made an effort to develop better methods and models to be utilised in different service platforms. This website is dedicated to the ROADIDEA project, and will available after the closing of the project in september 2010 for some years.

Main results of the project are the innovation process, the ideas generated in the innovation Wiki and the pilots, especially the pulp friction pilot. Below you will find quick links to all public deliverables and information. A compiled list of all ideas generated during the project is now also available. Please look at the project results and use for your benefit!

 ROADIDEA Final Innovation Seminar

The Final Seminar of FP7 ICT-Transport project ROADIDEA Road Map for Radical Innovations in European Transport Services has been held on 10 and 11 June 2010. Click here to go to the Final Seminar site.

Innovators, providers and users of transport services and transport policy makers / managers were invited to join in the ROADIDEA Final Seminar. Here was presented what was learned during this 2,5 year research project, and what the key results, conclusions and recommendations are. The seminar was held immediately after TRA2010 in Brussels on 10 - 11 June 2010 in the Square Brussels Meeting Centre.

The ROADIDEA Final Seminar has been recorded as a Webcast. An overview of the presentations as they have been posted on YouTube are presented in the Final Seminar Webcast page. The opening presentation of the Final Seminar is included below:
